The first step of this illustration is to drawn the skeleton, which represent the unfortunate victim.
The second step is to add the Vietnamese rural background into the scene. According to Vietnamese legend, dog can sense spirit, thus the dog is a secondary character.
The final step is to add paper texture and adjust the brightness/contrast level in certain parts of the picture.

A FOOLISH DEATH
In Vietnam, many poor people suffered a foolish death by cutting leftover Vietnam War's bomb for scrap metals. Therefore, I decided to create this illustration in order to raise awareness about this alarming issue. The final picture was created by using Procreate and Adobe Photoshop.
